Down lambs, 28/361b5., none offering. Do., 36/421b5., none offering. Best N.I. xbd. lambs, 28//361b5., 83d. Do., 36/421b5., 83d. N.I. 2nd qual. lambs, av. 30/311b5., 7 3-Bd. Best N.I. wether sheep, 64d to 5 1-Sd per lb. North Island ewes, 3 7-8 d to 3 3-8 d per lb. N.Z. prime ox beef, 160/2201b5,, none offering. As compared with last week’s quotation: North Island 2nd quality lambs, l-8d per lb higher; other unchanged. Best North Island wethers, under 48 lbs., 1-Sd per lb higher; 48/721b5., id per lb higher. North Island ewes, l-8d per lb higher. The market is steady, but firm.
