BADMINTON.
A match between teams representing the Masterton and the Masterton Nomads Badminton clubs resulted in a win for the Nomads by six matches to three. The results were as follow
(members of the Masterton team being mentioned first in each case): —First round: C. Campbell Heard and Mrs Thomas lost to E. M. Plodder and Miss J. Beetham; Mr and Mrs A. W. Don beat H. Major and Mrs E. M. Hodder; A. H. Daniell and Mrs H. M. Peacock lost to N. Miller and Miss J. Marshall. Second round: C. Campbell Heard and Mrs Thomas beat H. Major and Mrs Hodder; Mr and Mrs A. W. Don lost to N. Miller and Miss J. Marshall; A. H. Daniell and Mrs Peacock lost to E. M. Hodder and Miss J. Beetham. Third round: C. Campbell Heard and Mrs Thomas lost to N. Miller and Miss J. Marshall; Mr and Mrs A. W. Don lost to E. M. Hodder and Miss J. Beetham; A. H. Daniell and Mrs Peacock beat H. Major and Mrs Hodder.
