At 3.30 this afternoon, a motor ear collided with a boy, killing him almost instantaneously.

The lad, who was about twelve years of age, and a son of Mr Arthur Hamilton, insurance agent, had been leaning over the side of the Roebrick Road bridge gazing into the river. Suddenly ho turned round to run across the bridge and collided with a car driven by, Georgo Arthur Kimber, the boy apparently being struck by the front of the rear mudguard.
