COMMUNITY SERVICE.
The Masterton Rotary Club is an institution which does much, in a quiet way, to assist the noor of the town, and to “let a little sunshine” into the lives of. children who, through poverty, are deprived of many of the good things of life. “Service to the community” is the motto of the club,, and close association with the activities of the club will provide evidence of the excellent work which is being done. The members of the Rotary Club do not blazon forth their deeds to the world; quietly and unobtrusively they carry out the duties which their membership demands.-' Individually, the members do much to alleviate unemployment and to render service to the sick and those in need, and collectively they are a force which deserves well of the community. At all times the Rotary Club has shown its willingness to assist other local institutions in any movement that has for its object the advancement of the town, or which desires to lighten the burden of those less fortunate residents who are faced with unemployment or sickness in the home.
