R.S.A. RE-UNION.
GATHERING AT CARTERTON. A final reminder is given of the reunion of ex-Service men to be held in the tong’s Theatre at Carterton this evening. The gathering promises to be one of the most noteworthy of its kind ever held in the Wairarapa. In addition to the Prime Vfinister .(the Right Hon. J. G. Coates) who is to be the. guest of the evening, a large number of prominent soldiers will attend, amongst them a member of the Canadian Air Force. The toast list contains a large number of items, but the speeches arc not to be unduly long and a number of songs and other musical items will provide pleasant variety. The gathering is open to all who served in the military, naval or air forces of any Empire country in the Great War. Three motor buses will leave the Masterton Post Office at 7.15 p.m. and will return from the King’s Theatre at 11 p.m.
