BILLIARDS AND SNOOKER.
Y.M.C.A. CUP COMPETITION. The weekly match in the Y.M.C.A. billiards and snooker cup tournament was played last evening between teams representing the Fire Brigade and Railways. The brigadesmen won by eight games to two. The following are the individual scores (Fire Brigade players mentioned first): — Billiards. —R. Collins 100, A. Renalls 09; L. Pearson 100, L. Whittaker 37; S. Dixon 07, F. Turner 100; A. Torrance 100, P. Rankin 96; C. Clark 61, E. Reid 100.
Snooker. —R. Collins 67, L. Whittaker 15; L. Pearson 65, P. Rankin 16; S. Dixon 32, A. Smith 31; H. Hill 46, F. Turner 44; A. Torrance 62, A. Renalls 25. Next Thursday Oddfellows play the Y.M.C.A.
