NOTORIOUS CRIMINALS.
180 YEARS’ GAOL EACH. ACCORDING TO HUNGARIAN .CODE (Received Tuesday, 9.50 N a.m.) VIENNA, Monday. Baja Omerovic and Ivan Nakstimovic, two notorious Serbian criminals, who were sentenced to be hanged fiftyeight times, have been sentenced to imprisonment for ISO years apiece. They broke gaol and committed many atrocities after being sentenced in 1924 and were recaptured. The sentences confirm the Hungarian code providing for a separate sentence for every offence. —Australian and N.Z. Press Assn.
