WAIRARAPA MEETING. The Wairarapu Racing Club’s summer meeting was held on the Tauhorenikau racecourse on Saturday and Monday, in brilliant weather. There were big attendances on both days, and the racing throughout was good. The totalisator receipts on the first day showed an appreciable drop, due to Saturday not being a general holiday, a sum of £20,0il being handled, as compared with £24,840 on the lirst day last year. Yesterday, however, a slight increase was shown, the machine putting through £24,408, as compared with £22,842 hist year.
