CALEDONIAN SOCIETY.

ANNUAL SPORTS. The annual sports of the Wairarapa Caledonian Society on the Park yesterday were a decided success from every point of view and were excellently managed. The piping was judged by Mr A. Barclay, of Wellington, and the dancing by Mrs lan Cameron and Miss D. McLellan. ' At the commencement of the gathering Piper Donald Scott played a lament, “Lochaber Xo More,” to the memory of the late Piper Donald Sutherland. Music was supplied at intervals during the afternoon by the I’etonc Pipe Band. The lan Cameron Cup for most points in the. juvenile classes for girls and boys under .16 years was won outright by Gladys Smyth. The Kaliumingi Cup, presented by Mr C. F. Valia m-e, for points prize in juvenile dancing was won by Adeline Burnette. Air W, P. McLachlan’s challenge cup for most points in girls’ dancing classes (12-16 years) was won by Gladys Smyth.
