In d> banco of the Commonwealth Steamship Owners’ Association, the in-ter-State seamen held their monthly stop-work meeting to-day, instead of yesterday, as the latter was u public holiday. The owners slate that the men committed a breach of the recent agreement, which states that the meeting must be held on the last Tuesday in each month, and the, men therefore will not be paid for to-day.
