Coming to Hollywood unheralded and unknown Miss Xixon found herself facing a perilous path which many less courageous have turned back from. But held by a great resolve she started on the long climb to the heights and it was not ltmg before the little extra girl was playing 'bits,’ and the tbits’ were followed by small parts, then came a lead with Buck Jones, and then after that things came so fast and furious that the little star had a hard time picking her parts. How he does this by capturing a troop of mail thieves and saving the government’s honour, provides the comedy with a strong plot and plenty of laughs. If you don't believe it, imagine what happens when Doug, discovers himself aboard a mail train with two crooks. First, they get the upper hand; then ho does; finally he ties one of them up in a mail sack, and the! prisoner starts shooting through the canvas! Then, to make things even funnier, a third bandit, riding- the brake rods, decides to cut the coach loose. And the whole gang is marooned —on a runaway train which continues speeding down steep mountain grades. Shirley Mason is Doug’s bit of sunshine in “Let it Rain.” Eddie Cline directed. See the picture. It will not wet your feet, is guaranteed to dry the tears, and will positively deliver at least one smile per second!
