CRASHES DOWN GULLY
A MOTOR ACCIDENT. A 'WOMAN INJURED. (By Telegraph —Press Association.) BLENHEIM, Thursday. A saloon car, driven by T. C. Wilson, of Waimai, lluntly, who was accompanied bv Mrs Gwendoline Wilson (35) and their four children, all of school ago, left the road on the Redwood Pass to-day while on the way from Blenheim to Christchurch, and crashed to the bottom of a deep gully, turning over several times and landing upside down. Mrs Wilson was extricated with difficulty, and is now in the Vfciirau Hospital suffering from injuries to the chest and back and broken ribs. The remainder of the party fortunately escaped with minor injuries. The car was badly- damaged. It was at this spot that two people were killed and five injured two years ago. At the inquest on that occasion the Coroner strongly recommended that a parapet should be erected at this spot, which lie considered dangerous.
