MASTERTON SALE. The New Zealand Farmers’ Co-opera-tive Distributing Co., Ltd., report on their Mastcrton sale as follows: —AN e had a total entry of 146 cattle, no sheep coming- forward. The cattle yarded comprised a large entry of store cows and a few good liens of dairy heifers. Competition at auction was keen, every pen being sold at auction, with the exception of two pens of bullocks which were disposed of immediately after at the reserve price. The following are the prices recorded: Good forward bullocks, £b; fat cows, £5 to £7; forward bullocks, £9; fat cows, £5 to £7; forward heifers, £5; forward store cows, £4 to £3 4s; store cows, £2 9s, £3 to £3 10s; Jersey cross twoyear steers, £4; JS-months steers (low condition), .£4; heifers, do, £4; dairy heifers, r.vy.b., £4 Os, £3 17s 6d to £4; small wcaner steers, £2; potter bulls (small), £2 4s to £4 2s Gd; springing cows, £5 to £6; pigs, slips, 22s 6d; wcaners, 12s to 16s 6d.
