RUNHOLDER MISSING
TRAGEDY FEARED. (By Telegraph —Press Association.) DUX EDIX, Tuesday. John Butler, a innholder of Deep Stream (Otago) has been missing since lust Friday evening. He had occasion to go to Rockland Station that night and has not been heard of since. It is assumed that on returning home lie slipped into a culvert, and from the fact that the river was in Hood at the -time it would appear that he was carried out into the river. Dragging operations are being carried out, but so Tar the body has not been recovered.
