NEW GERMAN BATTLESHIP.
AUTHORISATION CANCELLED. BERLIN, Monday. The Reiehrat has adopted a motion to cancel the first instalment of £410,000 on the new battleship, which was to cost four millions. It is pointed out that it is unlikely that the second instalment can be raised before 1029, and that probable delays would make tho battleship obsolete before completion. —A.P.A. and "Sun. ”
