■ MELBOURNE SALES. MELBOURNE, Saturday. At the wool sales, the last of the current year, the market as a whole was not quite so firm as in the earlier stages or at last month’s series, and the withdrawals have been larger. Shipping has been rather move restricted during the week than was expected, and in view of the near approach of the holidays there may possibly b,e some disinclination on the part iqf flip trade tp push matters.
