SLAVES RELEASED.
COMPENSATION PAID. (Received Monday, -9.50 a.m.) DELHI, Sunday. The Government of Burma has announced that over 4000 slaves were freed last year in the triangle in the Kacbi.n country, North Province. The sum of £21,000 was paid to owners as compensation.
