Special train for Masterton leaves Wellington 4.55 p.m., Featherston 5.12, Carterton 8.54, Masterton arr. 9.20 p.m. Stops south of Mangaroa only where required to lift passengers for Mangaroa and north; stops all other stations where required. Intending passengers are invited to make use of this train and avoid congestion on the 4.16 p.m. Wcllington-Masterton train. There will be a Greytown connection at Woodside with tRc 4.16 p.m. 'Welliligt on-Mastert on train. ON 25th DECEMBER ordinary timetable will be suspended. Special return train for Masterton and Woodville leaves Clareville 5.25 p.m., and for Wellington 5.50 .pm. each day. These trains stop all stations. PALMERSTON NORTH RACES. Special Excursion Tickets to Palmerston North, available for return until 30th December, will be obtainable at Masterton, Woodville and intermediate stations, on 26th, 27th and 29th December. Return, fares, Ist and 2nd class, to Awapuni racecourse, including admission to course: Masterton 17/1, 12/13; Mauricevillc, 14/10, 11/4. These tickets will be issued only by train leaving Masterton 7.45 a.m. (26th), 7.20 a.m. (27th), 6.40 a.m. (29th). Train for Awapuni Racecourse leaves Masterton 7.45 a.m. (20th), 7.20 a.m. (27th), 0.40 a.m. (29th). Connects each day with train leaving Woodville 10.1 a.m. for Awapuni Racecourse.
