OPERA HOUSE. Last night’s largo and appreciative audience at the Opera House was unanimous in its approval of Warner Bros’ super production, “Don -Juan. Ihe performance of John Barrymore in the leading role is of outstanding merit and one which will long he remembered by Masterton patrons. The second screening takes place to-night. W ritten about, in almost every tongue—the inspiration of scores of artists, poets, musicians and dramatists —it is a moot question if a real Don Juan ever existed. Down through the centuries, the lomantio iig ure of the greatest of all lovers has been surrounded with a virtual halo, so that to-day he has become a type, a symbol, a. glory —almost a divinity. The photoplay stands as a lasting monument to the enterprise of Warner Bros, and constitutes a permanent tribute to stars, director, author and cast —in short, to all who in any way contributed their art toward making '‘Don Juan” the outstanding iilm masterpiece of all time.
