Nominations' for all events at the above meeting, to be held on the Feiid- ■ ing racecourse on Saturday and Monday, Ist and 3rd January, 1927, close on Friday, 10th December, at 9 p.m. Horse-owners and trainers are reminded that this meeting follows the Manawatu E.C. meeting, which will be held on December 27th, 2Sth and 30th, at Awapuui, and that the Awapuni and Feilding racecourses are about ten miles distant, so that they will have no trouble in attending both of these meetings. TURF TOPICS. In Welington, Star Stranger is favourite for tlie Auckland Cup, a little better fancied than Te Monanui. Count Cavour is now ‘having the fast work put into him, and southerners contend that he wi'J!) be at the top of his form at Auckland Cup time. Tanadces and No Favours have been sent to Woodville, and Kilmezzo also is ' to make blue trip. Kilmezzo galloped well before leaving Treutham. i Degage, who is engaged in the Auck- ; land Cup and at the Manawatu meeting, will not race during the holidays.
