ROTARY CLUB.
FIRST ANNIVERSARY. The first anniversary of the foundation of the Masterton Rotary- Club was' celebrated yesterday with a luncheon in Hugo and Shearer’s tea rooms, when the Rotarians entertained their wives in honour of the occasion. Visitors were also present from the Wellington Club. Rotarian D. J. McGowan. (Wellington) gave an address’ on the work of Rotary-, stressing the need for business fellowship, the field of work awaiting in the education of the boy", and the manner in which Rotarians could assist individually in promoting the welfare of the community'.
