The Coal Lumpers’ Union, at a special meeting, decided not to ceaso work in support of the watersiders ’ no-over-time strike until instructed by the Union officials to do so. This is the second rebuff received by the watersiders in the past week, and it is known that a number of other maritime unions, including the stewards, marine cooks, bakers and butchers', support the stand taken by the seamen and lumpers. Notwithstanding this opposition, the watersiders seem determined to continue the strike.
