NOTICE OF SPECIAL ORDER. ■VOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that at a Special Meeting of the Mauriceville County Council, held at the County Oflice at noon on the 13th day of November, 1926, the following Resolution was duly passed ami will be submitted for confirmation at a Meeting of the said Council, to be held at- the County Office at noon u.u the lltli day of December, 192(5. . THAT in pursuance and in exercise • of the powers vested in it by Section 17 (e) of the Local Bodies’ 'Loans Act, 192(5, and of all other Acts and powers , (if any) it in that behalf enabling, and : with the consent of the ratepayers of ; the- Cleland’s Hoad Special Rating District of the County -of Maurieevil'e. testified by a petition signed by not [ less than three-fourths of the Rate-pay- ■ ers in tho -said Special Rating District, the Capital, Value of whose pro- , pertics as appearing in the valuation ' roll of the said County is 'C-ollectively ! greater than the capital values of the ■ properties of the ratepayers who. did not so consent, the Mauriceyille County ; Council hereby resolves by way of Spe- ■ cial Order as follows: — : 1, —THAT the Council proceed to raise--a loan of Three Hundred Pounds (£300), for the purpose of forming and 1 metalling Cleland’s Road. 3. —THAT such loan be called “The j Maurieevillc County Clelaud's 'Road ! Loan of £3OO, 192(5.” 1 3. —THAT the currency of the said ! loan shall bo for a period of thirty-six and a-lnilf (361) years, -commencing on 1 the Ist day of November, 1926, and • maturing on the Ist day of May, 1963. 4. —THAT the interest o u the -said loan shall be at the rate -of Six Pounds ! (£6) per centum per annum, and -shall j bo payable half-yearly on the Ist day : of May and November in each and ev- I cry year. 0.--TIIAT the form of security for the payment of principal and interest on the said loan shall be One (1) debenture of Three hundred pounds (£300), and relative coupons in a form,in conformity with the provisions of The ; Loral Bodies’ Loans Act, 1926. 6. —THAT the Council doth hereby appropriate and pledge as security for the repayment of tho said loan and the interest, sinking fund and other charges thereon the special rate of -six-twenty-fiftlis (6-2otlis) of a penny in the pound sterling on tlie rateable value (on the basis of -capital Value) of all rateable property in the Cleland’s Road Special Rating District in the County of Maurice ville. 7. —THAT the principal and interest shall be payable at the Bank of New Zealand, Wellington. 8. —THAT tho cost of raising the' loan and the interest and sinking fund for the first year of the said loan -be paid out of the loan.
