FETLDING SALE. (By Telegraph —Press Association.) FEILDING Friday. At tho Feilding stock sale a fair entry of sheep sold well up to late rates after good competition. Eat sheep sold on a lower basis than last week. Two-tooth wethers sold firmly at higher prices. Eat shorn wethers sold at 1//-, IS/-5 20/11, 21/0; fat'ewes 13/-, 14/-, 16/0, to 26/-; fat woolly hoggets 26/0; ewes and lambs 26/4, 02/-; shorn 2-th t\ethers 12/S, 15/7, IS/-, S/10; shorn fair do., 15/0, 15/6 to If/-, JD/6. A small yarding of cattle consisted mainly of fat and store cattle. Fat cattle showed a drop in prices on last. sale. Store cattle were in poor demand, nearly the whole yarding bring’passed in. Eat. Hereford bullocks £l2; fat Hereford cows £7/10/6: fat heifers £S/7/G; fat cows £6 /15/-, £7 15/-; light bullocks £O/10/-: forward empty cows £O/12/-, £5/I'/•• CARTERTON SALE. Wright, Stephenson and Co.. Ltd., rc■port:—\Ye offered a-Small yarding of dairy cattle to the usual attendance at Carterton yesterday. Empty cows and heifers in’good condition sold very well, and other cattle sold at prices on a par with late sales. Following are our prices:—Cow on drop, £8; springing heifers, £0 to £4 ss; forward cows, £0 to £4 7s: cull cows', 30s to £2 ss; empty heifers (forward condition). £5 to £5. Dalgctv and Co., Ltd., report having yarded a small entry of cattle and pigs at the Carterton sale. Competition was on a par with recent sales, a clearance being effected at the following prices: Kmptv dairy heifers, £2; cows and calves, 575; store cows, 51S; bull. 555: weancr pigs. 21a to 255. The Wairarapn Farmers' Co-opera-tive Association, Ltd. (Stock Department) orport on the Carterton sale as follows: —A good yarding of both cattle and pigs came forward, and were offered 'to a large attendance -of buyers. Competition throughout- was-keen, and we made a good clearance under the hammer at prices on a par with late sale rates.
