FETLDING SALE. (By Telegraph —Press Association.) FEILDING Friday. At tho Feilding stock sale a fair entry of sheep sold well up to late rates after good competition. Eat sheep sold on a lower basis than last week. Two-tooth wethers sold firmly at higher prices. Eat shorn wethers sold at 1//-, IS/-5 20/11, 21/0; fat'ewes 13/-, 14/-, 16/0, to 26/-; fat woolly hoggets 26/0; ewes and lambs 26/4, 02/-; shorn 2-th t\ethers 12/S, 15/7, IS/-, S/10; shorn fair do., 15/0, 15/6 to If/-, JD/6. A small yarding of cattle consisted mainly of fat and store cattle. Fat cattle showed a drop in prices on last. sale. Store cattle were in poor demand, nearly the whole yarding bring’passed in. Eat. Following are our prices:—Cow on drop, £8; springing heifers, £0 to £4 ss; forward cows, £0 to £4 7s: cull cows', 30s to £2 ss; empty heifers (forward condition). £5 to £5. (Stock Department) orport on the Carterton sale as follows: —A good yarding of both cattle and pigs came forward, and were offered 'to a large attendance -of buyers. Competition throughout- was-keen, and we made a good clearance under the hammer at prices on a par with late sale rates.
