SYDNEY, November TO. 1 Iri the Assembly, it. motiou by Mr. Bavin (Leader of the Opposition) to reduce Supply to a sum sufficient for two instead of four months (the point at issue being the date of an election) was defeated by 45 votes to 42. Messrs Loughlin, Goodin and Gillies (Labour insurgents) voted with the Government SUPPLY BILL PASSED. SYDNEY, November 30. The Legislative Council passed the Supply Bill without amendment. Parliament then wont into recess. Elections probably 'will be held in the mildie of March
