OPERA HOUSE. Probably the most notable stellar cast ever assembled for one picture "ill be seen in “W r inds*'ot Cha'nee,’ which First National will offer at ‘the Opera House, 'commencing on Wednesday. The featured players include Anna Q. Nilsson, Ben Lvon ; Viola Dana and Victor McLaglen, the English cinepia star. In the supporting cast are Hobart Boswortji, Claude Gillingwater, Dorothy ■Sebastian, Philo McCullough, John I. Murray, and others. The picture, adapted from the Rex Beach novel of the Alaskan gold rush, was produced and directed by Frank Lloyd, who made “The Sea Hawk.” Reserves at Henderson ’s. COSY THEATRE. Pola Negri in “A Woman of the World,” will be seen at the 'Cosy Theatre to-night. The Countess Elnora, disappointed in love and betrayed by the man she believed in most, decides 1 to leave society’s European playgrounds and retire to Hie quiet, subdued life of a countrv town in the United States, where’*she has relatives. Her arrival in the strictly moral community causes a sensation, and Sam Poore, her relative, comes in for ccnstore. Her exotic appearance and manners are the basis for slanderous gossip, which finally reaches the ears of the district attorney, the town’s paragon of virtue. He orders her to leave the town. Later the infuriated countess horsewhips' him. and strangelv he accents it in a chastened spirit. He realises that he loves her, and the countess experiences the same feelings for him.
