At the second annual ordinary general meeting of sharenoideis of the a aranaiu L*.*licius, JAd., iieui at Aielbourue yesterday, it was announced by tne chairman (nt. Hon. AV. A. Watt) taut the company was proceeding to drill a well near Okoke (in Taranaki), on a- Structure iiiguiy appraised by tne company's geologists. He also stateu that, subject to' the settlement of terms in detail, an agreement was being entered into with a powerful British Oil Corporation with, a view to securing their co-operation in developing- Dominion oil resources'. The meeting approved of the offer to both classes of snare option holders to extend the date of the option by IS months for the payment of Is tnl per share, payable on February 28tli, 1627.
