N.Z. LEAGUE TEAM. BEATEN BY WARRINGTON. LONDON, Saturday. Warrington defeated the New Zealand touring team by 17 to 5. The attendance was only 7500, due to the heavy rain and a gale of wind, which also hampered the New Zealanders’ playb ■ The New Zealanders were never impressive because the Warrington forwards consistently controlled 'the scrums.
