FIGHTING IH MUKDEN. CHANG’S TROOPS IN RETREAT. (Received Tuesday, 9.10 a.m.) PEKIN, Monday. Telegrams from Mukden state that Kuosunglingites, under the pretence of surrendering, turned the Chang-tso-lin-ites left flank. The Chang-tso Unites ’ defence line completely collapsed, and the troops are in full retreat towards Mukden. They may make a last stand at Liao river. There is a complete break-down all round Mukden and a general exodus from the city is in progress.
