SHOOTING FATALITY.
YOUTH SHOT IN HEAD. (By Telegraph —Press Association.) FEI LIVING, Monday. A distressing shooting fatality occurred at Waiata, 12 miles from Feilding, yesterday. Basil Kitchen, aged 19, employed on a farm, was out shooting, and did not return. A search being made, his body was - found at 4 o’clock this morning. He evidently tripped over a rata root and the gun exploded, and the charge entered his head. Death was instantaneous.
