FEILDING SALE. (By Telegraph —Press Association.) FEILDING, Friday. There was a fair yarding of sheep offered to a large attendance of buyers. Lambs and the best classes of owes were in keen demand, and were quitted at prices well up to late rates. Fat sheep (except very best quality) were not keenly sought, several pens being passed in. A fairly largo yarding of Cattle came forward, including a line of of good Jersey Springing lieit'Ol-s, which sold at fairly satisfactory prices. Fat cattle were hard to quit, buyers standing off mainly on account of the bad weather. A number of -pens were passed in. Prices ruled as under: —

Fat Sheep.—Fat b.f. lambs, 24s 6d to 27-s; ditto w.f., 25s 2d to 27s Id; light fat wethers, 35s Id to 35s 4d; good -heavy fat wethers, 46s 9d. Store sheep.—Wether lambs, 26s Id to 27s 9d; fair m.s. lambs, 26s 9d; store b.f. lambs, 17s; medium w.f. m.s. lambs, 19s Gd, to 225; small lambs 10 -Gd to 16s 6d; rough ewes, r.w. Romney rams, 35s to 36s 7d; good 4 and 5-year ewes, r.w. S.D. rains, 475; very fair f. and f. wethers, 37s lid; empty ewes, 17s 3d to 24s 3d. Cattle. —Fat -steers, £7 19s Gd; good P.A. fat bullocks, £1.0; fat P.A. cow-s, £ 710 s to £3; high-grade Jersey springing heifers, £7 10s to £lO 15s; empty store cows, £2 2s to £2 2s 6d.

CLEARING SALE. The Wairarapa Fanners’ Co-opera-tive Association, Ltd., Stock Department, report on the undermentioned sales:—At Kahutara on Thursday we offered the herd of Air A. E. Roberts (whose lease has expired), together with horses, implements, and a host of sundries. There was a large attendance of buyers, but the bad weather recently experienced had a tendency to harden the sale. Best dairy cows made up to £8 15s; others, £4 10s, £5 ss, £6 15s, £7 to £7 10s; Jersey cross heifers, from £4 to £7 ss; 1 hgU-draug-ht mare, £26 10s; 1 do., £2O. Sundries sold at good clearing sale rates. At Kaitavva. Pallia tun, on Fridnv, we offered Mr W. S, Lett’s dairy herd. Weather conditions were again unfavourable. Best dairy cows made up to £9 10s; others, £4 'lOs, £5, £5 10s, £6 ss, £7 10s to £8 15s; 7 Jersey cross heifers, £5; 0 Holstein cross do., £5 /s 6d; empty cows made 30s to £2 15®. RIVERSDALE CLEARING SALE. iDa-lgety and Co., Ltd., report having , held a very successful disper-sal sale at Riversdale station -on account of Mr W. -Gordon Laing. The vendor was for-

tunafe in striking a very fine day for his sale, and this, coupled with the reputation which the Riversdale stock has, was responsible for the very large attendance. -Competition was remarkably keen throughout the sale, and the general opinion was that this was one of the most successful sales* ever held in the district.
