Offerings for Young People’s Department per envelopes distributed last Sunday are expected. • MASTERTON COUNTY COUNCIL. ’VTOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN of the intention of the Masterton County Council, at a meeting of the said Council, to be held on the 14th day of July, 1925, under the provisions of Section 120 to 122 of “The Counties Act 1920” and under the provisions of “The Hospital and Charitable Institutions Act 1909” to make and levy the following Rates for the commenced the Ist day of April 1-925 and ending on the 31st day of March 1926 upon the Capital Rateable Value of all rateable property within the County of Masterton as appearing on the Valuation Roll in force for the said period: Riding of Opaki: A General Rate of fifteen-sixteenths of Id in the Pound. Riding of Rangitumau: A General Rate of fifteen-sixteenths of Id in the Pound. Riding of Upper Taueru: A General Rate of One Penny and three-six-teenths of a Penny in the Pound. Riding of Te Whiti: A General Rate of seven-eighths of Id in the Pound. Riding of Uriti: A General Rate of One Penny and eleven-sixteenths of Id in the Pound. Riding of Wainuioru: A General Rate of One Penny and three-sixteenths of Id in the Pound. A Hospital Rate of one-sixth of Id in the Pound upon the Capital Rateable Value of all rateable property in the County of Masterton. Over the Opaki Water Supply District, a Separate Maintenance Rate of two-thirds of Id in the pound. Over the Upper Plain Water Supply District a Separate Maintenance Rate of five-twelfths of Id in the Pound. Over the Te Ore Ore Water Supply District a Separate Maintenance Rate o" nineteen-thirty-seeonds of Id in the Pound. THE SAID RATES will be payable in one sum at the County Office, Chapel Street, Masterton, on the 15th day of July, 1925.
