Officials of the Seamen’s and Watersiders’ Unions conferred regarding the maritime j position. The proceedings were in camera.. The general opinion among ship-own-ers is that all the vessels engaged in inter-State trade will be tied up as the articles expire.—P.A. WATERSLDERS’ ATTITUDE. (Received Friday, 10.45 a.ni.) SYDNEY, This Day. It is reported that the Sydney branch of the Watersi-ders’ Federation lias intimated its willingness to support the Seamen’s Union if subsequent developments warranted such an action. —P.A.
