A meeting of the 'lnternational Association Football Board altered the offside law so that a player shall not bo offside if two instead of three opposing players are between him and the opposing goal line. The Auckland Football Association has received a letter from the United Soccer Association of China suggesting a tour of New Zealand in June next year en route to Great Britain-. The team has beaten everything met in the East and suggests a ten weeks' -stay in New Zealand with matches in Christchurch, B'enheim, Wellington, Wairarapa, Wanganui, Manawatu, Tima ru, Taranaki, Rotorua, Gisborne, Hawke’s Bay, Auckland. The cost of a New Zealand tour is estimated at £SOOO.
On account of the shortage of grounds at Carterton, the Martinbor-ough-Masterton third-grade game on Saturday will be played at Greytown.
