LABOUR PARTY’S CANDIDATE

Mr. E. R. McCombs, wife of Mr. -McCombs, M.P., has been nominated by several unions for selection by the Labour representation committee as the Labour candidate for the Christchurch Mayoralty. Several others have also been nominated for the final selection, which will be made this evening.
