LICE-INFECTED SHEEP.
EXPOSED FOR SALE. SEVERAL DEFENDANTS FINED. F. W. Bartholomew was charged at *;he Masterton Magistrate's Court this ■morning, before Mr S. L. P. Free, S.M., -with having, on February 11th, exposed Ji.ce-infected sheep for sale at tine Colroad saleyards. Mr A. T. P. .iiuMKtrd, Stock Inspector, gave evidence as to finding the sheep to be infected with lice. Defendant was convicted and fined £2 and 7s costs.. R. O. Smith, for exposing lice-infeet-.-‘■d sheep for sale, pleaded guilty, aud was fined £2 and 7s costs. Rigg Bros., for exposing liec-infocted •sheep for sale, were fined £5 and 7s (Costs.
j .H. Percy, for exposing liee-in-jfected sheep for sale, was fined £-1 and 77s costs.
