WEDDING.

FLY—PERRY. A pretty wedding was celebrated afc St. Matthew’s Church this morning, when Miss Lucy Perry, third'daughter of Mr and Mrs J. A. Perry, of Tenui, was married to Mr Maurice Fly, youngest son of Mr and Mrs W. J. Fly,, of Masterton. The bride, who was given, away by her father, was attired in. white georgette over silk, finished witk pearls, and wore the orthodox veil orange blossoms. The bride carried W lovely shower bouquet of white astera and Japanese lilies. The bridesmaids were Miss Flora Perry (sister of thebride), attired in lemon georgette,, with a swathe of charmeuse, embroidered in contrasting shades, and Miss Violet Fly (sister of the bridegroom) was dressed in powder-blue georgette and charmeuse, embroidered in contrasting shades. Both bridesmaids carried pretty bouquets of powder blue and lemon cactus dahlias. All the bouquets were made by Miss Bratting, of Masterton, an aunt of the bride. Mr Horace Lewin (cousin of the bride* groom) was best man, and Mr Norman Fly (brother of the bridegroom)grcfomsman. The Rev. B. .D. Ashcroft, of Tenui, was the officiating minister. After the cermony, Mr and Mrs JPerry entertained a large number cS guests at. the Trades Hall. Over !th® tables hung a pretty wedding bell, made by the bride’s friends. The prersents -were numerous and costly, including a number of cheques. Thebridegroom’s gifts to the bridesmaids were a string of pearls. Later in the afternoon the hapjigA couple left for the north, where t« honeymoon is to be spent, the briCK-i travelling in a navy costume and henna, hat, and wearing black fox furs, a gixc of the bridegroom.
