A REMARKABLE CASE. f WIDOWER AND HOUSEKEEPER. (Received Tuesday, 11.30 a.m.) i PERTH, This Day. A remarkable nullity suit has jusfe been heard. After the death of his wife, Robert Holmes, a wealthy pastoralist, drank: heavily and became mentally and physically feeble. In May last two doctors certified that he was incapable of managing his own affairs, which his brother is managing. In the same month Robert, Holmes married his housekeper. The brother, on behalf of Robert Holmes’ son, entered a petition foi; divorce on the ground that. Robert Holmes was incapable of contracting & marriage owing to his mental condition. Mr. Justice Burnside pronounced tho marriage null and void. —Press Assn..
