SENIOR CHAMPIONSHIP. MASTERTON V. GREYTOWN. Tho Wairarapa championship fixtures -were continued on Saturday afternoon xii unfavourable weather. Masterton thus win the championship for the season. GLADSTONE. Gladstone defeated Rett Star, at Garterton, by IS points to nil. CARTERTON v. PEATHERSTON. Carterton defeated Featherston by 20 points to nil at Carterton. POSITION OF TEAMS. Bv their win on Saturday Masterton secured the championship for the season. This is the second year in succession in which Masterton has annexed •the senior championship. ’ The rtcam has always played clean football, and on and off the field their conduct, has been most commendable. Their football has (been bright and up to the ■Jest city standard. The team is to be congratulated on their success, which was well deserved.
