mangahao scheme. A REVISED SCHEDULE, ! MASTERTON ALLOTTED POWER. •Mr G. R, Sykes, M.l\ -telephoned from Wellington this afternoon that a deputation from the Wairarapa consisting -of Messrs A. D. McLeod, Moore,°Sykes, Howard Booth, •lohn Martin, Kershaw, Benton and Mr Sykes, M.P., waited Ipon the Minister at Wellington this morning in regard to the Wairarapa obtaining a supply of power from Mangahao. The Minister submitted a revised schedule of the allocation of power from Mangahao, which gave Masterton 2000 h.p. and Eketahuua 900 h.p. This power would be supplemented bv that from the Waikaremuana scheme xvilhout delay..
• The Minister said that the work in connection! with the Mangahao scheme would be pushed on with all speed as soon- as-‘the. required labour and material were available.
