ALBANIA AND ITALY.

The anti-Italian rising in Albania: is unexpected. Ever since the day when the war between the Allies and Germany came to an end, there has been trouble in Albania. The Slavs .justly claimed certain territory on the Adriatic coast, to which Italy lias no right whatevef. The Albanians resent Italy stealing their territory, for that is what it really amounts to. Italy aspires to become supreme in the Adriatic, and she cares nothing for the smaller, nationalities concerned. The Allies Went to war, among other things, to protect the rights of the smaller nations, but as far as the Adriatic is ■concerned' the Allies have yet to carry out ..tips doctrine there. Italy has no right to any territory in Albania or anywhere on the Albanian side of the Adriatic. Italy has all through acted the big bully in regard to the small Adriatic nationalities; : Bjncc Git*, war j Italy lias pprsued a Prussian policy :alfe* through tjio piece, and has Threatened! bluffed and browbeaten the other Allies. Italy is adopting the same pel-, icy in regard to Adriatic terrtory as the Prussans, Austrians and Russians did in regard to Poland. , Italy Will, no doubt..!be able to put down the revolt in Albania, but the fact will always remain that the Italians, are interlopers and robbers who have Uo right to be in Albania.
