The “Sunday Express” states that Cabinet, yielding to the pressure and threats of wealthy business members of the House of Commons, has decided not to proceed with tho tax on tvar fortunes. The “Sunday Express’ states that the Finance Committee of the Cabinet is abandoning the proposal to tax war fortunes as it would affect 75 per cent of tho members of the House of Commons.
