BANKS SUSPEND PAYMENT. Press Association—Electric Telegraph—Copyright (Australian and N.Z. Cable Association.) (Received Saturday, 9.15 a.m.) TOKIO, Thursday. Twelve branches of the 74th Bank at Yokohama and the Yokohama Savings Bank have suspended payments. The former institution is heavily interested in silk and cotton transactions.
