MACKAY BEFORE THE COURT. (By Telegraph —Press Association.) WANGANUI, This Day. Charles Evan Mackay was before the Magistrate this morning on a charge of the attempted murder of Walter Darcy Cresswell. Owing to the prosecuting counsel being engaged in Supreme Court work, the case was adjourned until 2 o clock.
