SATURDAY HALF HOLIDAY.
THE LABOUR PARTY MOVES. At the monthly meeting of the Masterton branch of the New Zealand La- 1 hour Party, held hist night, the question of the universal Saturday halfholiday was discussed. ■ It was mentioned during the discussion that the Trades and Labour Council intended moving, in the' same direction, the idea being to get into touch with the National Executive of the Labourw Party, and that one of the sitting Labour members be asked to bring a Saturday Half-Holiday Bill before Parliament at an early date. The Party passed a resolution endorsing the principle of the Saturday halfholiday. The matter will come before the Tralles and Labour Council bn June 7th.
