INFLUENZA EPIDEMIC.
AUCKLAND CASES DECREASE. (By Telegraph—Press' Association.) AUCKLAND, Tuesday.' The Auckland district health returns show a satisfactory decrease in the number of influenza notifications. Only a small number of these,.moreover, are , severe. The number of notifications for the twenty-four hours ended at noon to-day is 45, of which 9 are severe. This is a decrease of 89 on yesterreturn for the previous! 48 hours.
