DISTRICT COMMITTEE FORMED. ' The Wellington district members of Parliament are organised this year, and already a conference has been held. It is stated that for the coming session Wellington will Ijave a solid body irrespective of political colour. • Some time ago steps were taken to fornt a committee of members embracing the whole of the central part of the Dominion —from Gisborne to New Plymouth, to Marlborough and Motucka. All the members but one have joined the comniittee. Two preliminary meetings have , been held, and another is to be called immediately the House sits. The purpose of the committee is the pushing forward of the requirements of the districts concerned.
