Were to direct his attention Id the householder and his limited supply of gfis, I am sure he would be doing a good turn to everybody, and -not criticise the corporation olliicialsi l : In my opinion Mr Fussell has overlooked the liouehsolders, because tiie .'material, contained in his letter is somewhat vague. The point is, Mr Fussell, who 1 conies first? —the shop- ’ keepers or the householders. Our esteemed shopkeepers have already help-, ml. the householders by closing at an earlier hour. | It may be all very well to voice one’s opinion on this matter, bid I' maintain it is the duty of the gas officials jto. make their own restrictions,'seeing that they possess a thorough knowledge of gas .distribution.
