OIL STORES STRIKE.
MEN RESUME WORK. (By Telegraph— Press Association.) WELLINGTON, Wednesday. The trouble which developed at the oil stores ou Tuesday has been settled temporarily, the men resuming work on the understanding they are to be paid 2s 3d an hour, ail increase of 3d. The oil-importing firms are considering the position in the meantime, with a view to arriving at a final settlement. When the dispute arose, the waterside workers, in sympathy with the men in the stores,, refused to handle benzine, but oil being informed that the difficulty) Fad. been overcome they resumed.
