In connection with Mr Chamberlain ’s reference to the Nauru agreement in his Budget speech, there is a" strong feeling by some Federal Ministers against'the agreement. The suggestion has bej?n made that either the Pacific Phosphates Company, should be allowed to continue working the deposits, or if the British ' Government wished to proceed with the proposal for working the deposits it should do so alone.
